This Sunday, November 2nd, the 2nd Pulque Festival took place at the Teatro del Pueblo (People’s Theater) within the fairgrounds, where Tlaxcalan families and visitors gathered to enjoy this traditional beverage.
Producers from various municipalities, including Tlaxco, offered a wide variety of pulque in different flavors, highlighting the quality and tradition of this artisanal drink.
In addition, the public enjoyed a live concert and a classic car show, all free of charge, making this festival a day full of flavor, music, and family fun.
The Pulque Festival began on Saturday, November 1st, at 1:00 PM, with free admission.
Organized by the Tlaxco Pulque Festival collective, it offers tastings of natural and flavored pulque at affordable prices.
The event is accompanied by the XLIV Offering Contest “Mtro. Desiderio Hernández Xochitiotzin”, traditional music and the presentation of folk dances.
