Government of Zacatecas trains tourism sector in customer service

The Government of Zacatecas, led by Governor David Monreal Ávila, continues to strengthen the tourism industry through the 2025 Annual Training Program for the Tourism Sector for Well-being. This time, the program offered a course on “Customer Service” for the housekeeping department.

The course, given to 30 tourism service workers, was held at the Hotel Arroyo de la Plata and was led by Professor María Teresa Muro Coria from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas.

The main objective was to provide housekeeping staff with the necessary tools, knowledge, and skills to offer customer service based on respect, empathy, efficiency, and quality.

This training significantly contributes to guest satisfaction, reinforcing the state’s reputation as a top-tier tourist destination.

The Government of Zacatecas, under the leadership of Governor David Monreal Ávila, reaffirms its commitment to the professionalization and continuous development of the tourism sector, while recognizing the importance of offering quality service that meets the highest standards of customer care.
