Young people from the November 15th march remain imprisoned / CJNG sets Michoacán ablaze without a single arrest

This Monday, November 17, the 19 young people arrested during the Generation Z march were transferred to the North and South prisons in Mexico City. Videos document the moment: some crying, others with visible bruises and injuries. They face serious charges such as attempted homicide, assault, and property damage. They have been detained for three days for protesting.

🔥 That same day in Michoacán: alleged CJNG hitmen set fire to between 10 and 15 vehicles in simultaneous roadblocks across 16 municipalities. They burned tractor-trailers, passenger buses, and dump trucks. They paralyzed federal and state highways in Pátzcuaro, Zamora, La Piedad, Uruapan, Morelia, Quiroga, and other municipalities for hours.

The contrast is stark: the response was an operation against Ángel Chávez Ponce “El Camaleón,” leader of the CJNG, which resulted in the deaths of two hitmen. But of the drug cartel roadblocks that terrorized 16 municipalities, burned public and private property, and paralyzed the state… zero arrests. Not one.

📊 In Mexico City: 19 young people imprisoned for protesting, some accused of serious crimes. In Michoacán: massive drug cartel roadblocks by organized crime, dozens of vehicles set ablaze, terror in the streets… and no one is held accountable. Let everyone draw their own conclusions about what the Mexican government prioritizes.
