Early this morning, barricades were put in place in case of any violence.
A march by Section 22 of the CNTE teachers’ union, as well as by some feminist groups, is expected in Oaxaca.
Both marches are expected to converge on the city’s main square, the Zócalo.
Given this situation, and to prevent any violence at the Government Palace, security measures have been reinforced.
