Governor Esteban Villegas Villarreal met with the Governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, during the Laguna Region Security Meeting with the Operational Coordination Group to strengthen collaboration between the two states.
They agreed to work with a more streamlined coordination framework, improve information sharing, refine joint protocols, and strengthen operations in border areas to prevent and address risks more effectively.
Furthermore, a direct line of communication between the agencies was established, as well as synchronized work between the monitoring and rapid response centers of both states.
