The State Government has revamped the look of the Constitución, Las Alamedas, and Canta Ranas corridors, spaces that this year stand out as the main venues for the state’s Christmas lights.
Governor Esteban Villegas Villarreal, along with Marisol Rosso and Mayor Toño Ochoa, toured these public spaces to oversee the new decorations.
The authorities inspected the decorations adorning the capital’s most emblematic thoroughfares, where families and visitors have begun to gather to enjoy the start of the season.
During the visit, the governor clarified that the lighting covers the entire Constitución corridor and the Las Alamedas promenade, also including the Canta Ranas area.
A special light show combining light displays with artificial snow has been installed in Las Alamedas, designed specifically to offer a unique visual experience for children and adults alike.
Villegas Villarreal emphasized the importance of creating environments that foster social unity during this significant time of year. “We want this Christmas to be a time for families, filled with joy and time for our children; that’s what’s most important,” the Governor stated regarding the purpose of the decorations installed in the city center.
Finally, the authorities extended an invitation to the public to enjoy the lights and stay tuned for the schedule of complementary activities.
In the coming days, traditional events such as the Christmas Parade and the opening of the Christmas Fair will take place, further expanding the options for gathering and celebration this December.
