Governor Mauricio Kuri González participated in the 52nd Ordinary Session of the National Public Security Council and the 8th Session of the National Civil Protection Council, where he reiterated that Querétaro will continue collaborating with institutions at all three levels of government to strengthen the country’s security and well-being. During the meeting at the National Palace, it was emphasized that the state maintains a firm policy to address violence and crime.

In her remarks, the Governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, noted that Querétaro has implemented a municipal civic justice model that has led to a reduction in non-serious crimes for the second consecutive year. She also acknowledged the coordinated work with the local Congress in updating security reforms, aligning them with the national framework.

Furthermore, the cooperation between the Attorney General’s Office, the State Security Secretariat, and the municipalities with federal authorities was highlighted, resulting in operations with positive outcomes and a consistent reduction in homicides. President Claudia Sheinbaum thanked the state governments for their support in the face of the year’s challenges, including the weather phenomena that affected various regions of the country.
