Requirements to Obtain a Biometric CURP in Baja California Sur
If you wish to visit one of these offices to obtain your biometric CURP in Baja California Sur, here are the requirements to ensure a smooth process:
Birth certificate. This applies only to individuals aged 0 to 18.
Certified CURP. The code contains 18 alphanumeric characters. Sixteen of these characters are taken from the person’s identity document (birth certificate, naturalization certificate, immigration document, or Mexican nationality certificate), and the last two digits are assigned by the National Population Registry. The document must include the phrase “Certified CURP, verified with the Civil Registry.”
Official identification. It can be any of the following: INE (National Electoral Institute) card, passport, military service card, professional license, voter ID card, ISSSTE (Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers) card, IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute) card, or a card issued by the Ministry of Welfare.
