Querétaro ranks among the top 15 largest cities in Mexico, according to a recent ranking that evaluates population, innovation, and industry in the country’s major urban centers. The city of Querétaro stands out for its sustained growth and for becoming a strategic hub for the economic development of the Bajío region.
According to information from the Facebook page “Secrets and Curiosities of Mexico,” the list is headed by the Mexico City Metropolitan Area, followed by Guadalajara and Monterrey; however, Querétaro stands out as one of the cities with the greatest industrial and demographic dynamism in recent years. Its boom is attributed to attracting national and international investment, as well as strengthening sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and technology.
Furthermore, Querétaro has registered a steady increase in its population, driven by its quality of life, job opportunities, and strategic location. These factors have allowed the city not only to grow in size but also to consolidate its position as a national leader in innovation, competitiveness, and urban planning.
