The Comptroller’s Office of Los Cabos has disqualified at least five former officials from previous administrations for administrative misconduct. The disqualification is for one year, with the possibility of up to 20 years in serious cases.
Comptroller Mario Alejandro Fernández Briseño presented this information at a recent meeting. More than 150 complaints were received, addressing irregularities such as the improper purchase of cell phones by María del Rosario Díaz Cinco.
In addition, the current administration is being investigated for document forgery, which could result in further disqualifications. Transparency and accountability are priorities in this process.
