After the theft of equipment belonging to the Office of the President of the Republic on the dangerous route to Matehuala, in San Luis Potosí, federal pressure had an immediate effect.
The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) confirmed that the material was found intact in a rural area of Guadalcázar, just 28 kilometers from where it was stolen.
The discovery, made by the National Guard near the community of El Huizache, suggests that those responsible preferred not to bear the burden of a loot that was “too hot.”
Among the shadows of Federal Highway 57, the equipment appeared abandoned, confirming the old saying that, at certain levels, “it’s not the other way around.”
