The Expo Shibuya brought together fans of anime and Japanese culture at CEART Tijuana, with a cosplay catwalk, sale of items, and the participation of characters inspired by popular series.

Tijuana, BC. -This Saturday, the otaku community gathered at the Expo Shibuya, an event that brought together fans of anime and Japanese culture, who had the opportunity to show their cosplays of favorite characters and participate in various activities.

The expo was held on the esplanade of the State Center for the Arts (CEART) in Tijuana, where attendees enjoyed dynamics such as a cosplay catwalk, sale of food and collectibles, as well as different attractions aimed at anime fans.

Death Note and Dragon Ball

Among the cosplayers, Nubia stood out, who used a characterization of Power, a character from the anime Chainsaw Man. She shared that she has been in the world of anime for just two months and that she spent about two and a half weeks gathering the necessary items for her wardrobe.

He also pointed out that he chose this character for his energetic personality, with which he identifies.

For his part, Hector attended dressed as Denji, the protagonist of the same anime, and commented that this character has become especially popular in recent years.

He added that his interest in anime began at the age of 13, starting with series considered classics such as Death Note and Dragon Ball, which marked his approach to this culture.
