Residents maintain a blockade at the height of Acapulco, on February 2, causing long lines of vehicles and disruptions to traffic.
The Autopista del Sol registered a blockade of demonstrators on Monday, February 2, from the early hours of the morning, which was lifted around 4:00 p.m.
Commissioners from Juan R. Escudero and the Ocotito Valley requested that the self-defense groups, who moved from the municipal capital of Ayutla on Friday, leave the areas they currently occupy, to prevent further outbreaks of violence.
