Hermosillo will be one of the six venues in Mexico for the international cycling competition of the Tour de France, the mayor of Hermosillo announced. Antonio Astiazarán reported that on October 18, more than a thousand cyclists will participate in a route that will begin in Hermosillo and end in Bahía de Kino in the categories of 40, 73, and 123 kilometers.

” More than a thousand cyclists will culminate their Tour de France race in Bahía de Kino, and in the Public Market, more than a thousand people will come TO BAHÍA DE KINO on October 18 to Bahía de Kino and consume, buy products, get to know this natural beauty that we have, and practice the sport,” he said.

The mayor invited cyclists to participate in this event that will be held within the framework of the Kino Fest , and it is expected that the winner of this route will participate in the Tour de France.

The cyclists will leave Hermosillo from Parque Madero to finish at the recently inaugurated work of the Public Market in front of the Bahía de Kino pier.

Mario Mitrani, director of A live Entertainment tour, explained that registrations for the general public will be through the hazdeporte.com website.

“We are going to have several surprises; we are going to have prizes for the first places, and with the idea of being able to take them to France. The idea is that they live like professional cyclists, this brand that is the most recognized in cycling, the Tour de France,” he said.

Ramón Neme Sastre, president of the board of A live Entertainment, said that this event is of utmost importance for the inhabitants of Kino and Hermosillo, and they hope that it will remain permanent.

” The idea of us to bring spills over to the community, to the municipality, that everyone is involved in this event and that this is not just once, that it remains as a great icon of this great place,” he said.

On the Tour de France route, there will be stages and routes by continent. In the case of America, there will be venues in countries such as Costa Rica, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. In Mexico alone, there will be six venues, and in addition to Hermosillo, they will be in LaPaz, Tabasco, Cancun, Tlaxcala, and Mexico City.
