Commemorating its 50 years of life, the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS) extends the invitation for its traditional cultural courses and workshops that, on this occasion, will be held in all its venues. Here we tell you the details.
When and how to register for the UABCS cultural workshops?
The Directorate of Cultural Dissemination and University Extension of the UABCS announces the opening of registration for the cultural workshops at the La Paz Campus, aimed at both the university community and the general public.
The registration period will be from February 16 to 18, and will be done online, through the www.uabcs.mx portal, within the SIIA section; external students must create an account on the platform, while UABCS students will be able to enter using their institutional username.
What are the cultural workshops that will be given at UABCS Campus La Paz?
There is a wide variety of artistic, cultural, musical, visual, and multidisciplinary workshops, with face-to-face and virtual modalities, among which are: dance, theater, visual arts, photography, engraving, singing, guitar, yoga, chess, reading, and creative writing, among others.
The activities will take place mainly in the AD-56 and AD-52 buildings, behind the Cultural Polyforum, consolidating these spaces as key points for university cultural promotion, the official statement states.

This year, cultural workshops will also be offered at the different UABCS campuses in Los Cabos, Ciudad Insurgentes, Loreto, and Guerrero Negro, strengthening access to culture throughout the state.
