Cleaning and waste collection in Cabo San Lucas; authorities coordinate actions

To strengthen public services in the Cabo San Lucas delegation, a working meeting was held with department heads to follow up on operational agendas related to cleaning and garbage collection.

The meeting reviewed strategies related to solid waste collection, cleaning campaigns, and the removal of potential mosquito breeding grounds (known as “bulkheads”) being carried out in various neighborhoods.

The delegate of Cabo San Lucas, Karina de la O Uribe, indicated that the objective is to maintain clean, orderly public spaces in better condition for the community.

Likewise, the importance of inter-institutional coordination and constant planning to efficiently address the needs of the population was emphasized. Teamwork allows for strengthening actions that impact public health and the city’s image.

Regarding the topic, the sixth councilwoman of the Los Cabos City Council, Marisela Montaño Peralta, shared her perspective on the issues discussed, in order to promote initiatives from the Public Services Committee.

Finally, the Public Services Coordinator reiterated the staff’s commitment to diligently follow up on scheduled work, focused on improving service delivery.

Meanwhile, it was agreed to hold regular working group meetings to evaluate progress, adjust strategies, and strengthen public services initiatives, benefiting the families of Cabo San Lucas.
