It was reported that a surprise operation at the National Guard base in Comitán uncovered officers consuming alcohol and cocaine, as well as being in the company of women.
High-ranking officers from the 34th Coordination were conducting surprise operations at bases, and upon arriving at the Comitán station, they encountered officers in civilian clothes who attempted to block their path. The officers had to subdue them, and upon entering, they found the base transformed into a veritable bar, a brothel, with drugs, alcohol, and women. A sublieutenant was caught throwing liquor bottles, beer cans, and cigarettes into the undergrowth.
After the officers were detained, toxicological tests confirmed the consumption of alcohol, cocaine, and marijuana, while the women accompanying them were removed from the base.
High-ranking officers ordered the immediate removal of the officers involved and initiated the corresponding legal proceedings.
