How nice when we have the opportunity to travel and stay in a hotel where we feel like royalty. Those places that enchant our hearts from the first moment with their beautiful architecture, incredible views, and unparalleled services. That’s why today we want to suggest an accommodation for the next time you visit Santiago de Querétaro. Read on to learn more about one of the hotels in the historic working-class neighborhood of Hercules, in Querétaro.

From textile factory to brewery
Only a building like this could tell the story of its past through its high walls and long corridors. In 1846, the Yarn and Fabric Factory “El Hércules” was inaugurated by a Spanish industrialist, Cayetano Rubio. Years later, this place would be visited by Porfirio Díaz and Venustiano Carranza, and later it would become a milestone of the Industrial Revolution in Mexico. 165 years later, Compañía Cervecera Hércules was founded – with a direct corridor to the hotel – and in 2019, the factory ceased its industrial operations.
The factory served as the epicenter of the economic and social life of this neighborhood in Querétaro, and today the Hercules Brewery has taken that place. In this neighborhood, a deep sense of community is felt in popular festivals and a great sense of belonging in cultural heritage. The new life that was given to this building with the brewery and the hotel is only a sign of how the past and the future can coexist without altering the essence of the place.
