The Palenque Site Museum and Archaeological Zone announced that the “Awakening of Lakamha'” Rally was held at the museum, providing elementary school children with an enriching activity that complemented their guided tour of the Palenque archaeological site.
Through games, challenges, and trivia, the young participants explored the rich history of Lakamha’ in a fun-filled and educational day. These activities allowed them to learn more about the importance of the Mayan culture that flourished in Palenque, one of the most significant cities of this civilization.
Museum staff expressed their gratitude for the active participation of the students, teachers, and parents involved in the activity, reiterating that more educational institutions are encouraged to join in these types of events, which, in addition to preserving culture and history, also contribute to the educational development of children.
