Artisan art exhibition announced in Chetumal for the month of March

The activities will take place in various locations and include exhibitions, fairs, and sales spaces focused on strengthening the social economy and showcasing artisanal work.

Among the scheduled activities is the Chactemal Corridor, which will be located at the kiosk in the Flag Plaza.

This event will be held on Fridays, March 6, 13, 20, and 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with the participation of artisans and producers offering a variety of locally made items.

Another announced activity is the Artisan of the Month exhibit, which will be held on Friday, March 13.

The exhibit will take place in the lower level of the Municipal Palace, where a representative piece of local artisanal work will be presented. The hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The program also includes the VIDA Artisan Fair, which will take place on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, at the Flag Plaza, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

In addition, the Solidarity Market will be held on Friday, March 27, at the Financiera del Bienestar (Wellbeing Finance Institution), from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

According to the Municipal Institute of Social Economy, these activities aim to create spaces for promoting local artisans, craftspeople, and producers, as well as to boost the community’s economic development.
