This cultural event, inspired by one of Mexico’s most emblematic celebrations, seeks to bring Oaxacan traditions closer to residents and visitors of the Riviera Maya, creating a space for cultural exchange in one of the country’s most important tourist destinations.

The festival will take place in Plaza Fundadores (Portal Maya) and will be completely free of charge, allowing families, tourists, and the local community to enjoy a complete cultural experience.

The festival will begin with one of the most representative expressions of Oaxacan culture: the traditional calenda, a parade full of music, color, and joy that announces the start of the celebrations.
