The Secretary of Tourism of Chiapas, Segundo Guillén Gordillo, along with the Governor of Oaxaca, Salomón Jara Cruz, and the Secretary of Tourism of Oaxaca, Saymi Pineda Velasco, inaugurated the Tuxtla Gutiérrez–Huatulco Bays flight operated by Aerobalam, as part of the efforts to strengthen connectivity and economic development between the two states.
This new destination joins the existing Tuxtla Gutiérrez–Oaxaca route, facilitating travel for visitors and strengthening regional tourism exchange, especially with Chiapas, one of Oaxaca’s most important markets.
This air connection also represents a bridge between two destinations with a rich cultural, gastronomic, historical, and natural heritage. Furthermore, it opens the possibility of promoting new experiences for national and international tourists interested in exploring southern Mexico more easily and comfortably.
