On the afternoon of Monday, March 23, family and friends of Juan Luis Chico Torres blocked the access road to the San José del Cabo International Airport in Baja California Sur.
The protesters are demanding that state authorities locate the 29-year-old, who disappeared on March 21 in the community of San José del Cabo.
The last contact was on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in San José del Cabo, and he has not been located. He is described as having a robust build, standing 1.68 meters tall, with hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige cap, a white t-shirt, black jeans, and black Nike sneakers.
The Baja California Sur State Commission for the Search of Missing Persons has launched a search operation, but so far, it has been unsuccessful.
Reportedly, personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE) went to the site to speak with the family and provide updates on the disappearance.
