The 17 representatives of the 2026 Fair and the 2025 Tabasco Flower visited emblematic sites in the capital.
A morning filled with music, color, and tradition was experienced this Wednesday in the Tabasco capital, thanks to the tour taken by the 17 municipal representatives of the 2026 Tabasco Fair, accompanied by the 2025 Tabasco Flower, Fernanda Palma Miramontes.
The first place they visited was the emblematic Pino Suárez Market, where they were greeted with the rhythm of the marimba, prompting more than one of the Tabasco beauties to dance.
During the tour, the young women received gifts from some of the vendors, took souvenir photos with those who requested them, and, at the end, enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Los Paisanos restaurant.
Later, to the rhythm of the drummers and amidst applause from locals and visitors, the young women arrived in the heart of the city, the Barrio Mágico (Magic Neighborhood), unleashing a true frenzy in the streets and shops. Entire families, tourists, and locals didn’t miss the opportunity to approach them, greet them, and take a commemorative photo.
In this second leg of their tour through the Tabasco capital, the ambassadors were received at hotels, shops, museums, and cultural centers.
One of the most special moments of the warm day occurred when the spokeswomen were welcomed at the El Jaguar Despertado art gallery by the musician Chemaney, who led them in his traditional “vueltecita y cadereo” (little turn and sway of the hips) dance before they posed for a commemorative photo. Before saying goodbye, the Tabasco artist wished them all good luck.
As the tour concluded, the 17 representatives, along with the 2025 Flor Tabasco (Tabasco Flower), attended the Gran Salón Villahermosa at Tomás Garrido Canabal Park, where they mingled with former ambassadors from Centro. This event was organized as part of the Guayacán and Macuilí Festival, sponsored by the Centro City Council.
“It was a great privilege for me to have the opportunity to host my friends,” said Monserrat Contreras, the 2026 Flor Tabasco.
