With the arrival of Centro Tulum, retail enters the municipality through a commercial development that will strengthen the local economy and create 900 jobs.
The municipality of Tulum is incorporating its first commercial development with Centro Tulum, a project that marks the entry of retail into the city and responds to the urban and economic growth of the region.
During a site visit to inspect the project, Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo emphasized that this space reflects the evolution the destination is experiencing.
“Today we are here at what will be the first shopping center in our city, Centro Tulum. A space that represents the growth, vision, and dynamism that Tulum is experiencing,” he stated.
The development will integrate shops, restaurants, services, and workspaces in an environment designed to serve both residents and visitors.
“This new development will become a meeting point for locals and visitors, integrating commerce, gastronomy, services, and workspaces in a modern and functional environment,” he expressed.
Furthermore, the shopping center will have a significant impact on the labor and economic sectors. Castañón Trejo indicated that its construction and operation will generate opportunities for the local population, creating 900 jobs. The mayor also linked the arrival of this type of development to investor confidence in the destination.
“It not only represents investment, but it also boosts job creation and opens new opportunities for Tulum families. It is a clear demonstration of the confidence that exists in Tulum, in its present and its future,” he stated.
Finally, he reiterated that these types of projects are part of an urban development strategy aimed at improving living conditions.
“We continue building a city with more services, greater economic activity, and a better quality of life for everyone, because when development is done with vision, Tulum moves forward,” he concluded.
