The German company Flix, renowned for its technological model applied to ground passenger transportation, announced its arrival in the state of Puebla with the launch of a new route connecting directly to Mexico City.
This move represents another step in the company’s expansion strategy in the country, less than a year after beginning operations in Mexico.
The new connection includes more than 600 monthly trips and fares starting at 89 pesos, aiming to offer an accessible and efficient alternative on one of the country’s busiest routes.
The route addresses the heavy daily passenger flow between the two cities, establishing itself as a competitive option against traditional bus services.
According to Carlos Magaña, the company’s arrival in Puebla represents much more than the opening of a new route; it seeks to redefine the travel experience through the use of technology and user-centric services.
Flix’s value proposition includes digital tools with real-time monitoring, as well as onboard amenities such as Wi-Fi, charging ports, and comfortable seating.
In addition, there is flexibility in ticket management, allowing passengers to modify their tickets according to their needs.
Users can purchase their tickets entirely digitally through the company’s app and website, as well as receive in-person service at their new ticket counter located in Explanada Puebla.
Since its arrival in the country, Flix has experienced rapid operational expansion. Currently, the company has six active routes covering four key regions: North, Gulf, Bajío, and Central.

Among the available connections are routes such as Monterrey–Torreón, Córdoba–Monterrey, and various routes departing from Mexico City to strategic destinations like Aguascalientes, León, and now Puebla.
Thanks to this network, the company currently connects eight states in Mexico, reaching 13 national destinations and more than 1,000 trips per month.
A key element of Flix’s proposal is its integration with Greyhound, which expands connectivity to more than 1,600 destinations in the United States and Canada. This alliance creates one of the largest ground transportation networks in the Americas.
Globally, the company operates in more than 40 countries, with a network exceeding 8,000 destinations. Its fleet includes more than 5,000 buses, and since its founding in 2013, it has transported more than 500 million passengers.
The recent summit in San Pedro, Monterrey, was just the beginning of a journey that will bring this dialogue to the entire region. It will be an opportunity to continue building, through open dialogue and multi-sector collaboration, the path toward a cleaner, more efficient, and more sustainable future for transportation and logistics throughout the region.
The tour will visit the region’s main markets: Mexico City, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile. Throughout these meetings, leaders from the public and private sectors, companies, investors, and international experts will analyze the present and future of electric mobility, technological innovation, infrastructure, energy, and the climate economy.
The transition is already underway. The Latam Mobility Tour 2026 will be the meeting point to accelerate decisions, connect key stakeholders, and collaboratively build sustainable mobility in Latin America.
