According to the official schedule shared by Julio León, Director of the National Coordination of Benito Juárez Welfare Scholarships, payments for the Rita Cetina Scholarship have already begun and will continue for a few more days.
This Thursday brings good news, as not just one, but five families will receive their deposit. MILENIO is sharing who they are so you can anticipate the payment.
This is an educational program promoted by the Mexican government with a universal scope, focused on preventing public secondary school students from dropping out of school. Its purpose is to provide direct financial support to families, without the involvement of intermediaries.
This support not only reaches secondary school students but also assists vulnerable households that were already receiving aid. This year, plans are underway to expand its coverage to include primary school students in general.
The distribution of funds is based on the first letter of the beneficiaries’ last names. This strategy avoids crowding at banks and facilitates a gradual disbursement during the first days of the month.
This Thursday, April 9th, the deposit will be made to those whose last names begin with the letters:
H
I
J
K
L
These beneficiaries will receive the payment corresponding to the March-April period.
The distribution of the economic support for March-April began last Wednesday, April 1st, according to the official schedule established for its disbursement throughout the country.
Payments are scheduled to conclude on Thursday, April 16th for all beneficiaries. It is not necessary to withdraw the money on the same day it is received.
Which account will the money be deposited into?
The base amount granted is 1,900 pesos every two months per family. If there is more than one child enrolled in secondary school, an additional 700 pesos will be added for each extra student.
The deposit is made exclusively through the Banco del Bienestar card, which is the official channel for accessing the resources provided by the Government of Mexico.
