A 16-year-old boy was kidnapped in the municipality of Arandas, Jalisco, after being lured with a fake job offer. The teenager had been promised employment at a grocery store and went to the meeting place, where he was intercepted by a group of armed men. The meeting, which seemed like a job opportunity, turned out to be a trap, as the assailants forced him into a vehicle and drove him out of the state.

The young man was taken to the municipality of Ixtlán del Río, in Nayarit, where he was held against his will in a rural area. After several days in captivity, the boy found an opportunity to escape and managed to reach the municipal seat of Ixtlán. From there, he traveled to Tepic, the capital of Nayarit, where he found transportation back to Jalisco, specifically to the bus station located at the intersection of Periférico Sur and Colón, in the municipality of San Pedro Tlaquepaque.

The minor was taken by municipal police to the Marcos Montero Green Cross clinic, where he received medical attention for minor injuries sustained during his captivity. At the clinic, the corresponding legal protocols were activated to verify his situation and ensure his rights were protected. Specialized personnel trained in child welfare began an investigation to clarify the facts and determine legal responsibility in the case.

Although the young man has been rescued and is recovering, no arrests have been made in connection with this kidnapping. Authorities are working to identify those responsible and clarify the details of this crime, which has deeply affected the minor, who lives with his grandmother in Arandas and had hoped for a job offer that turned into a nightmare.
