Ana Guevara, former head of CONADE accused of misappropriating over 600 million pesos, vacations at Grupo Vidanta luxury resort
Ana Gabriela Guevara, former head of the National Sports Commission (CONADE), once again grabbed headlines this Tuesday after being photographed vacationing at ‘The Estates at Vidanta,’ an exclusive, ultra-luxury concept by Grupo Vidanta.
According to a photo posted on social media by a user, the former runner from Sonora is seen with a drink in hand, wearing beachwear, a handbag, and sunglasses perched on her head.
The resort where the former athlete is allegedly vacationing consists of “high-end private residences, designed to provide an immersive experience in nature with sophistication, located primarily in Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya,” according to the Vidanta website.
Guevara left the Conade administration at the end of September 2024 without clarifying the whereabouts of 626 million pesos that disappeared during his administration, in which 44 irregularities were detected, according to official data up to May of that year from the Superior Audit Office of the Federation
