These are two vertical developments, according to announcements by authorities.
More than 3,000 homes will be built as part of two vertical housing projects in the Lomas de la Presa and El Roble areas, according to state and municipal authorities.
Mayor Claudia Agatón reported that the Estación Costera development will have 128 homes, while the Lomas de Ensenada project is slated to have approximately 3,000 units.
She emphasized that one of the benefits will be that the monthly mortgage payment will include maintenance fees for properties under a condominium regime.
For his part, the Secretary of Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Territorial Planning, Arturo Espinoza, noted that the Lomas de la Presa project has been required to include the installation of a wastewater treatment plant, as well as a connection to the potable water network. He indicated that the estimated cost of the homes is around 700,000 pesos.
In the case of El Roble, he explained that water, drainage, and electricity connections are already in place, which would allow for faster progress in coordination with Infonavit.
He added that developers will be required to submit traffic impact studies that consider public transportation, access, and mobility in the area.
Finally, it was established that up to 60% of the land can be used for housing, while the remainder must be reserved for green areas, recreational spaces, and roads.
