Construction of the Mexico City-Querétaro train line in Bernardo Quintana is progressing on schedule, according to Carlos García Villaseñor, the delegate of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) in Querétaro.
He indicated that the project is currently 32% complete and that, due to the work carried out, it could even be finished before August 30, the date originally set in the project.
“Today we’ve reached 32% completion and we’re doing very well. I think we’ll finish before August 30,” García Villaseñor stated.
He highlighted the efficiency of the Felipe Ángeles Military Engineers’ team, noting that the project was initially projected to take 12 weeks, but they managed to reduce the execution time to seven weeks.
He commented that the work operates like a Lego game, since it is not all being built from scratch, but rather the pieces are being assembled, in a similar way to this game.
