For years, thousands of cyclists have had to share a space designed specifically for them with motorcycles traveling at high speeds, putting lives at risk simply to save a few minutes.
But here’s where the debate begins…
Some argue that these measures were long overdue because bike lanes are neither emergency lanes nor shortcuts.
Others believe authorities should first focus on improving road infrastructure and addressing other transportation issues before increasing enforcement.
