A new Costco store is poised to become one of the largest in Mexico and all of Latin America, with an ambitious project planned for Corregidora, Querétaro, a city located half an hour from Guanajuato, near the municipality of San Miguel de Allende.
According to available information, the complex will occupy approximately seven hectares of land, allowing for the integration of multiple services and considerable capacity to serve thousands of customers.
Among its main features is an on-site gas station with 16 pumps, as well as a parking lot with space for hundreds of vehicles, indicating a high volume of visitors.
In addition, this store will feature a “sushi room,” where chefs will prepare fresh sushi to order, offering a more comprehensive experience within the traditional store format.
The location is strategic, as it will be just half an hour from San Miguel de Allende, which could attract not only residents of Querétaro, but also those from nearby municipalities in the state of Guanajuato.
This project reinforces the chain’s expansion in the Bajío region and promises to become one of the most important stores in the area once it becomes operational.
