The port of Puerto Vallarta closed out April with two cruise ship arrivals, further solidifying its strong maritime tourism activity during the fourth month of the year.
According to port sector figures, a total of 26 cruise ship arrivals were recorded in April, including eight double ships, one triple ship, and the rest single ships, in addition to one overnight stay. This reflects the dynamism of this destination in the international tourism segment.
On April 30, two important vessels arrived. The Emerald Princess, 290 meters in length, docked at Pier 2 at 7:15 a.m. and is scheduled to depart at 6:00 p.m. The Brilliant Lady, 277 meters in length, arrived at Pier 1 at 6:00 a.m. and will depart at 5:00 p.m.
Thousands of international tourists disembarked from both cruise ships, taking advantage of their stay to explore the city’s main attractions, enjoy its cuisine, and experience the hospitality that characterizes Puerto Vallarta.
With these arrivals, the destination has now welcomed 77 cruise ships so far this year, while six more are expected in May.
Cruise activity continues to position Puerto Vallarta as one of the most important ports on the Mexican Pacific coast, boosting the local economy and strengthening its international tourism profile.
