Army intercepts small plane carrying 636 kg of cocaine in E. Zapata, Tabasco

A small plane carrying 636 kilograms of cocaine was seized by the Mexican Army in Emiliano Zapata, Tabasco, the federal Security Cabinet reported.

In a report without details of the operation, it was announced that personnel from the Mexican Army and Air Force assigned to the 38th Military Zone, based in Tenosique, intercepted and seized a small plane in Emiliano Zapata carrying 636 kilograms of the drug, packaged in 536 bundles.

The value of the seized drugs, according to the statement released by the federal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), is 131.6 million pesos.
