Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Guerrero protect a true biological paradise

In Chiapas, Oaxaca, and the Costa Chica region of Guerrero, there exists a true biological paradise, one of the richest areas on the planet, sustained by three incredible pillars.

In commemoration of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP) announced that this area in southern Mexico offers the privilege of traversing rainforests, cloud forests, mangroves, and spectacular coastlines.

Furthermore, CONANP explained that it shares its home with true treasures: the imposing jaguar, the giant leatherback turtle, and endemic birds and amphibians found nowhere else on Earth.

In addition, CONANP emphasized the immense genetic wealth of the region, the so-called “secret code,” which allows flora and fauna to adapt, resist change, and continue flourishing.

Therefore, CONANP stated that it works daily with communities and indigenous peoples to conserve this natural wonder in Chiapas, Oaxaca, and the Costa Chica region of Guerrero.
