FIFA REJECTS THE IMPOSITION OF AJOLOGOL AS THE WORLD CUP MASCOT

Nothing seems to go right for Clara Brugada, the Mexico City mayor and head of government. After spending 1.8 billion pesos painting the city purple, thinking it would look good for the World Cup, she also spent millions creating her own mascot for the same tournament.

She thought she could impose her will and do as she pleased, until the football patriarchy arrived and ruined all her plans.

Clara Brugada wanted to make the axolotl “Ajologol” one of the official mascots of the host city. However, FIFA intervened to stop this imposition and ruled that the character is strictly prohibited from appearing in any of the official ceremonies or events of the competition, as official mascots were already in place.

And so, she will also have to pay a hefty fine for thinking she can do whatever she wants with the sport of football.

ANOTHER TRIUMPH FOR THE PATRIARCHY
