Guerrero Governor Evelyn Salgado—along with eight municipal mayors from the state and the criminal group “Los Ardillos”—has been accused before the International Criminal Court in The Hague of crimes against humanity.
🚫 The complaint, filed by journalist and Indigenous activist Marcela de Jesús Natalia, formally accuses the state government and the municipal officials of operating within a network of direct complicity, collaboration, and deliberate omission in the face of the wave of terror unleashed in the Montaña Baja region.
