In observance of World Bicycle Day, the Government of Jalisco highlighted advancements in active and sustainable mobility through the MiBici system, which currently records an average of 13,000 daily trips and over 380,000 monthly rides within the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area.
The program features 370 stations, more than 4,000 bicycles, and approximately 16,000 active users.
Since its launch, it has accumulated over 37 million trips, establishing itself as one of the country’s leading public bicycle systems.
Furthermore, MiBici Kids launched operations this year—an initiative that promotes bicycle usage among children through free rentals.
Jalisco also boasts 338 kilometers of bike lanes and carries out maintenance activities for this infrastructure, with the aim of fostering mobility that is healthier, more inclusive, and environmentally friendly.
