CNTE blockade worsens gasoline shortage in Oaxaca.

Two weeks into the blockade by the CNTE’s Section 22 at the Pemex plant in Santa María El Tule, up to 17 gas stations in Oaxaca have temporarily closed due to a lack of inventory, forcing others to limit fuel sales.
José Luis Ballesteros, president of the State Gasoline Business Owners’ Group, warned that if the CNTE blockade continues, Oaxaca would have less than four days’ worth of gasoline remaining.
He noted that to avoid running the pumps dry, some business owners decided to suspend sales; while they attempted to source fuel from other Pemex terminals—located in different regions or outside the state—the associated costs and transportation requirements resulted in financial losses.
