The Durango City Council has launched the tender for technical assistance services to draft the preliminary and final designs for a new artificial-turf 11-a-side football pitch at the Tabira sports complex, as part of the comprehensive transformation of this sports facility.
The base tender budget is €74,793, and interested companies may submit their bids or requests to participate until July 6. The Tabira sports complex—which has served local sports activities for decades—is situated on a site spanning over 53,000 square meters; under local planning regulations, the area is designated as a “general sports facility” on non-urbanizable land. This zoning framework allows for the expansion and reorganization of the existing facilities.
The new football pitch will be located behind the current playing field, integrating with the existing surroundings and the adjacent plots of land that will be incorporated into the project following their expropriation.
