While the world cheers Mexico’s run in the World Cup, something just as historic is happening on the ground in Querétaro.
Airbus — the world’s largest aircraft manufacturer — officially inaugurated a massive expansion of its Querétaro plant, and the numbers are wild:
💰 646.7 million pesos invested
👷 262 new specialized jobs created
📈 Door production jumping from 4,000 to 7,000 per year
🏗️ A brand new 4,500 m² building, bringing the plant to 12,000 m² total
🚀 Workforce growing to 800 employees by 2030
This wasn’t charity. This was confidence.
Mexican hands are now helping build the A320 — the most-delivered commercial aircraft in HISTORY, with over 19,000 orders and 12,000+ deliveries worldwide. Airbus is racing toward 75 aircraft built every single month by 2027, and Querétaro just became an even bigger part of that story.
The plant opened its doors in 2013. Just over a decade later, it’s a cornerstone of Airbus’ global production, built by Mexican engineers and Mexican talent.
This is what investing in Mexico looks like. 🇲🇽💪
