The Secretary of Welfare, Leticia Ramírez Amaya, reported that, from June 22 to 28, nationwide registration is being carried out for the Pensions for the Welfare of Older Adults aged 65 or older and Women’s Welfare for Mexican women aged 60 to 64.

Ramírez Amaya pointed out that the registration modules provide service from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 16:00 hours across the country. The location of the modules can be consulted on the Welfare Secretary’s website www.gob.mx/bienestar.

She elaborated that the Pension for Older Adults recognizes the contribution made by the beneficiaries in the development and preservation of values in Mexico, and with the Women’s Welfare Pension, for the first time, a lifetime of work and effort by Mexican women in caring for their families is recognized.

Leticia Ramírez specified that to provide better service, registration is carried out according to the letter of the person’s first last name, under the following calendar.

Requirements

  • Valid official identification (Voting credential, passport, professional license, Inapam credential, or identity letter)
  • CURP (recent printout)
  • Birth certificate (legible)
  • Proof of address (not older than 6 months: telephone, electricity, gas, water, or property tax)
  • Contact telephone (cell phone and home phone)

Those who, for some reason, cannot attend to complete the incorporation or registration process for the Pension for the Welfare of Older Adults or the Women’s Welfare Pension, can request a home visit on the official website of the Secretary of Welfare.
