A woman was killed and two men were injured in a shooting in the Guanajuatito neighborhood, in the Ejido de Tirado area of San Miguel de Allende.
The incident was reported to the emergency services in the early hours of Sunday, July 5, by residents who reported hearing several gunshots.
Authorities are investigating the shooting in San Miguel de Allende. Police officers responded to the scene on Salamanca Street in the aforementioned neighborhood and found three injured people. They requested assistance from emergency services.
Upon arrival, Red Cross paramedics determined that a woman had no vital signs and provided assistance to two men with gunshot wounds, transporting them to a hospital for medical treatment.
The area was cordoned off and secured by Municipal Police until the arrival of personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office to collect evidence and transfer the body to the Forensic Medical Service.
