The Lomillo Stitch Embroidered Strip is a traditional textile expression from Tabasco that is seeking trademark registration with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). Therefore, it requires legal support that recognizes various aspects of its origin.

Among the actions being undertaken is the collaboration of the artisans, who are the main promoters of this technique.

The artists participated in the First Forum on Lomillo Stitch Embroidered Strip Crafts: Tradition, Identity, and Artisanal Development, a space for dialogue and collaborative work aimed at integrating technical, historical, cultural, and legal elements.
