With the goal of strengthening the presence of the state of Querétaro in New York, the Secretary of Government, Eric Gudiño Torres, held a working meeting with the Consul General of Mexico in New York, Marco Augusto Bucio Mujica.

The state official emphasized that this meeting seeks to strengthen the binational relationship and cooperation to promote joint actions that generate new opportunities for collaboration between the state and the U.S. state, particularly regarding the Querétaro migrant community in the United States.

During the meeting, the authorities addressed issues of interest related to the protection of migrants, reinforcing support mechanisms, as well as trade and tourism.

Gudiño Torres was accompanied by the Coordinator of Citizen Services, Luis Bernardo González Zepeda; the president of the Migrantes Unidos en Caravana A.C. (Migrants United in Caravan) association, Juan Fernando Rocha Mier; and members of the Fuerza Migrante (Migrant Force) organization.
