The 2026 Mole Festival kicked off at the Oaxaca Gastronomic Center, featuring traditional cooks and chefs.

Running until July 24, this festival showcases one of the state’s most iconic dishes to the world; furthermore, it strengthens social responsibility, fosters pride in traditions, and helps preserve the region’s culinary heritage.

For this edition, the state of Baja California is participating as a guest through Chef Sergio Hernández’s restaurant, Los 32 Sabores, thereby strengthening the exchange and dialogue between the culinary traditions of both regions.

Attendees can sample 28 varieties of mole, reflecting the gastronomic and culinary richness of the state’s eight regions.
