Puebla Cinco de Mayo coffee and Puebla mezcal conquer new marketing spaces

As part of Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier’s strategy to add value to Puebla’s agricultural products, and with the goal of ensuring a better distribution of wealth for producers, Café Puebla Cinco de Mayo and Puebla mezcals are now available at Hacienda Santo Cristo, located at Paseo de las Bugambilias 3118, Val de Cristo, in the municipality of Atlixco.

In line with the vision of Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum, the Government of the State of Puebla seeks to boost the local economy and regional development. Furthermore, under the leadership of the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADR), Ana Laura Altamirano Pérez, this initiative and promotion were achieved, forming part of the effort to generate community wealth, a key pillar of the state administration.

The Hotel Hacienda Santo Cristo, renowned for its culinary offerings based on locally sourced ingredients, is adding coffee and mezcal to its menu. This initiative strengthens the state’s production chains and expands the marketing channels for products with a strong sense of identity.

It’s worth noting that Café Puebla Cinco de Mayo is the only brand on the market with Kosher, Halal, Natural, Vegan, and Gluten-Free certifications, demonstrating its competitiveness and quality in both national and international markets.

With these actions, the State Government demonstrates its commitment to food sovereignty, local consumption, and the promotion of brands that embody the quality of Puebla, thereby creating better opportunities for local producers.
