The Tlaxcala City Council conducted a site visit to the steps located at Prolongación 20 de Noviembre, in the capital’s historic center, to address the issue regarding the right-of-way and make progress on reclaiming the space.
During the visit, the legal aspects of the situation were reviewed, with the aim of creating conditions that allow for the restoration of free passage and the recovery of the space for the use of residents and visitors.
As part of the effort to address the issue, a cleanup and weed-clearing operation was carried out, given the area’s state of neglect.
The steps also offer tourist and scenic appeal, providing a view of the city of Tlaxcala; consequently, the goal is to restore the area so that the public can once again enjoy it.
