Tulum Archaeological Zone will close for three days; this is the reason

Vacacionistas caminan por las ruinas de Tulúm.

The archaeological zone of Tulum will close for three days, so the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) asks tourists to take precautions if they plan to visit the state of Quintana Roo.

Why will the Tulum archaeological zone close?

From November 27 to 29, 2023, the archaeological zone of Tulum will remain closed, due to the work to be carried out by the Archaeological Zone Improvement Program (Promeza).

Some of the improvements that will be made to the site include the installation of better access, paths, ticket offices, bathrooms, signage and parking.
